Born in Lisbon, Portugal, ex-model turned philanthropic socialite Fabiana Branco can often be seen traveling the skies of São Paulo to attend various charitable and social occasions. At the age of 24, Fabiana married property developer Rodrigo Branco and instantly became one of São Paulo’s highest profile kidnapping targets.

When Max describes her as "She was hot but wants to be dangerous" in the story line trailer. Is he trying to call her hot? I don't really understand.

That's a good point, something I've been thinking about. "Hot" can mean many things, and I'm not sure what they've done to Max's character (as you said previously it's not the same writers), so for all we know he could be a horny man going through mid-life crisis and thinks she's sexually attractive, or it could just mean she's popular, amongst many other things.

Well atleast it's the same old Max, I remember Max and Mona getting at it like rabbits in the second game. A quote I remember him saying was "I've always had a soft spot for a girl with a pretty face."

A little bit of both perhaps. I'm leaning toward the idea of her being attractive though, its more or less what makes her a target for being the real estate developer's wife, not to mention she's 24. Max also says something always happens with a female that he's trying to protect, I'm starting to say that idea is almost becoming repetitive, but oddly enough, a defining feature of a Max Payne game. The only difference here is that this female character belongs to somebody else. Its a representation of the female characters of the past games, except they all ended in tragedy. Will this one end in tragedy who knows, the simple fact that this character isn't necessarily connected to Max in anyway shows that he's moved on, but he is still haunted by those past events of his actual wife, and Mona.

I guess the writers are getting things right.

I like the way you word it - I agree - she represents all of the previous women in his life in one character. I'm sure there will be flashbacks.

Anyone else notice the huge age gap? 51-24, Gold digger. Well atleast it doesn't pay off and she gets kidnapped and tortured.

lol, One has to wonder if they also borrowed that element from Sao Paulo research, if yes, could cause controversy.

They did, if you look at the Max Payne features it has the reasearch stuff, it talks about wealth in Sao Paulo

I'll give it a few months, see if anybody complains that the game portrays women in the wrong way, in Brazil. Rockstar likes controversy with its games, especially with the GTA series, more or less giving them free media attention.

I think she'll show up less than Mona in the grand scheme of things.
