While there has not been a lot of news in the Max Payne world recently, I thought I'd update everyone in every way I can. First, let's start out with Rockstar Game's remodeled website.
This website is an obvious improvement to their old one, done pretty much all in flash, it holds the eye candy and the features that we're all looking for. In the featured section on the main page, Max Payne 3 appears randomly. Obviously, the project is not dead. I'll get into other reasons why later in the post, but here is Rockstar Game's website: http://www.rockstargames.com/
IGN put up an article about meeting Remedy Development, the developers of the first two Max Payne games in Cologne, Germany at the European Game Developers Conference. They stated that the original Max Payne took 4 years and a half years to create, and the sequel took 18 months. This is a significant difference obviously, as people complain about the length of the game, this shows why.
Max Payne took four and a half years to create. The sequel took about18 months to develop. Alan Wake has been in development for five yearsso far. "We had something that we believed in, bet the farm on, and putall of our eggs in one basket, and that was Alan Wake," saidMyllyrinne. He indicated that Remedy takes some time to develop theinitial concepts and then is able to more rapidly produce games, asillustrated by the development cycles behind the original Max Payne andits sequel.
Last but defnitely not least, thanks to RockstarWatch we have some new information regarding a Rockstar Games alternate reality Max Payne 3 game, where a website has received bottles of Valkyr and other things. You can look into this interesting story at their website. http://www.rockstarw...e-reality-game/
